Electroluminescent (EL) Light Panel
Power Supply Calculator
We understand selecting the right power supply setup for your electroluminescent (EL) light panels can be confusing. That’s why we created this handy guide and calculator to help you find the right configuration.
TOTAL SQUARE INCHES OF LIGHT
Based on the EL panels in your cart, the total square inches of light to power equals:
0
You’ll need to have enough power to cover the total square inches of light. The power amount needs to be equal to or slightly above the total square inches of light.
Overpowering a panel will burn it out. For example, do not power a 5in x 5in square panel (25 sq. inches of light) with a power supply that ranges from 40-75.
OPTION 1: INDIVIDUAL POWER SUPPLIES
You can light each EL panel in your cart individually with its own power supply.
Simply add the products below to your card and you’ll be set.
The cart doesn't have any panels. Add a panel to see what we recommend!
Want to power your EL panels with a battery pack? You can (from 1-15 sq in of light).

OPTION 2: SINGLE POWER SUPPLY

OPTION 3: CUSTOM
Given what you know about Power Options 1 and 2, you can mix and match inverters however you’d like. Just be sure to pay attention to the total square inches of light you need to power in your custom configuration.
